helping you achieve and maintain an organized life

BEFORE
This client wanted to use her computer hutch for a home based business, but long ago it became a catch all for everything else. She eventually started piling everything in the hutch and shutting the doors so she wouldn't see the clutter.
AFTER
Everything was removed from the desk and drawers. Outdated items were thrown out or shredded and the remaining papers were filed in existing hanging file drawer. Previously purchased organizers were put to use to organize her business brochures and daily bills. We made use of existing overhead cubbies for extra papers and brochures while also using pretty and functional storage boxes. A desk chair was brought in to utilize her new organized space.
BEFORE
This pantry caused problems due to very deep shelves. Items got lost in the back of the pantry and cans and condiments were constantly having to be moved to access the goods on the back of the shelves. The lower shelf was not used for much storage because it was too hard to reach the contents in the back of the shelf.
AFTER
An expandable spice rack was the first step to being able to see and reach canned vegetables and soup cans. Wire shelves were utilized and the owner was able to move breads, crackers, chips and candies stored in a kitchen drawer to her pantry. Wire shelves were also used to organize plastic wrap and aluminum foil boxes. A pullout drawer with a removable shelf was installed on the lower shelf so items are no longer lost in the back. Areas were labeled so owner would know exactly where everything is stored.

This spare bedroom and closet (in the next few pictures) is where all the items in the household went when the homeowner wasn't sure what to do with them.
AFTER (1)
The futon can be used now for it's original purpose and the items were distributed to the areas of the home where they belonged. Furniture was moved around slightly to make a new cozy sitting area.

This closet was virtually unusable with the homeowner's current storage methods.
AFTER (3)
Storage shelves were brought in, and the mattresses were moved to a better storage area. The white cabinets were moved into the closet from the room and now the cabinet is a dedicated storage area for gifts, gift wrapping, and ribbons and bows. All other areas are accessible now and include labeled storage bins.
BEFORE
A linen closet was being used for lots of other items besides linens - and the linens ended up on the floor.
AFTER
All other items were distributed to other areas in the home to make a linen closet dedicated to linens only.
BEFORE
This closet was used as a place to put items that didn't previously have a defined home. It is a deep closet lacking any shelves. Many items were lost in the back and forgotten about.
AFTER
Shelves were installed and items were sorted and stored in the appropriate areas. The closet curves around in the back allowing the client a place to label and store long term storage items. Frequently used items can now be easily accessed.
