 The Organizing Process
  • We'll have an initial conversation to discuss your organizing needs.   I'll ask you a few questions, you can ask any questions, and I'll discuss my fees and policies.

  • Next we'll schedule our first organizing session.  This includes a FREE 30-minute assessment before we start organizing that will allow me to get to know you better.  Together we will look at the area(s) needing help and discuss your habits and routines.

  • Each organizing session typically lasts 2-4 hours.  How many sessions are needed will depend on your specific situations.  During an organizing session we will work side-by-side to reorganize your space.

  • During the organization process your particular learning style and daily routines will be considered in order to help you maintain your newly organized life.  I'll teach you methods of maintaining organization that will work with your lifestyle.

    Residential organizing is my specialty! 

    Whether your kitchen cabinets are a jumbled mess or your garage is in serious need of decluttering, we can work together to organize your space. 

    Perhaps you are getting to ready to sell your home and need to declutter first.  I'll help you spruce up your home, and I can offer some home staging tips.  

    After the first assessment we can talk about which areas to tackle first.

    Some frequently asked questions include:

    Should I clean before you arrive?  NO.  I need to see your space in it's normal state.

    What kinds of organizing products should I buy?  Nothing yet.  Containerizing is a few steps down the organizing line.  I prefer to first use items you may already have in your home. 

    How long will this organizing project take?  That depends on a number of factors.  After working side by side with you for a session or two I'll be better able to determine how much time our project may take.  I can discuss this with you at our consultation.

    Do you travel outside of the Bloomington area?   Yes, I can travel to your home.  Up to one hour drive time is at no additional charge.
